Mohamed Salah scored his 16th Premier League goal of the season, helping Liverpool secure a 3-1 comeback victory over Leicester City at Anfield.
The Egyptian winger’s goal in the 82nd minute sealed the win for the Reds, who moved seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Liverpool’s win was a hard-fought one, as they trailed early on after Jordan Ayew’s sixth-minute goal.
However, Cody Gakpo’s stunning equalizer in first-half stoppage time and Curtis Jones’ goal in the 49th minute turned the game around in favor of the hosts.
Salah’s goal, which came after he drove into the box from the right and guided an excellent finish beyond Leicester goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk, marked a significant milestone for the winger.
He has now scored 100 goals at home in the Premier League, becoming only the eighth player to achieve this feat.
The win extends Liverpool’s unbeaten run to 22 games, and they will look to continue their momentum in their next match against West Ham United.
