The Dutch wing-back scored in the 49th and 61st minutes, sealing Inter’s spot in the final.
The match, played at the Al-Awwal Park stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, saw Inter dominate proceedings, with Dumfries’ goals capping off an impressive team performance.
Atalanta’s Giorgio Scalvini received a yellow card in the 28th minute, while Inter’s Cristian Augusto was booked in the 88th minute.
This win marks a significant milestone for Inter Milan, who will now face the winner between Juventus and AC Milan, in the other semifinal match, in the Supercopa Italia final.
